by New footage has emerged of the shocking moment a youth rugby match in Wales descended into violence.
The Ospreys Cup second round clash between Morriston Youth and Penlan on Friday night (November 1) was abandoned during the second half as a huge brawl broke out on the pitch, with players and adults involved under the stunned gaze of spectators.
In a video of the incident, we see a man being thrown to the ground following an exchange of words, followed by a fight between players and staff. At one point, a man appears to be pushed to the ground before being surrounded by several other people with punches and kicks.

New footage appears to show a man being punched and pushed to the ground, with a group of players surrounding him and apparently kicking and kicking him. Later in the video, another fight appears to break out on the other side of the field, leading to a large group of players rushing over and joining in.
The incident is expected to be investigated by the Welsh Rugby Union, with a spokesperson for the governing body telling WalesOnline: “The WRU is currently investigating an allegation of misconduct following of an incident during a match between Penlan and Morriston Youth on Friday evening.
South Wales Police are investigating but have confirmed no arrests have been made in connection with the incident at the time of writing.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended Morriston Rugby Club, Cwmrhydyceirw, Swansea shortly after 8pm on Friday, November 1, following reports of a disturbance at a match against Penlan Rugby Club. Officers are reviewing footage of the incident. This investigation is ongoing.”
Morriston RFC and Penlan RFC declined to comment when approached by WalesOnline.
